Serena Williams beat Sharapova in the finals of Australian Open 2007

Well, all is set for the finals of australian open. What to expect more than best players to reach the finals. I am waiting for the clash of these two great titans and guessing who will have the upper edge. Serena is coming from an injury but has the experience of winning the australian open and on the other hand sharapova is playing great tennis in the recent year but never has won the australian open before. So both players are evenly matched for the finals for the both the positive and negative points.

When the match starts serena williams is on fire and win both the sets 6-1, 6-2. ooooh, what a performance. Sharapova has no answers for what serena played. This should be kept in mind that sharapaova is no ordinary player and to defeat her by this margin in both sets is no piece of cake.
