I can tell you from my experience of playing against India that many of my contemporaries could have never made to Olympics on merit alone. Besides, indiscipline has been the bane of Indian hockey.

Indian Hockey Team

Indian hockey team is going through worst phase. They finished 11th in the hockey world cup out of 12 competiting team in this tournament. In the Asian Games they too can’t qualify in the semis , their worst performance ever in the asian games

I think old players should be brought into the selection process and not the politicans. They have ruined our national game. Experiences of old players should be used to improve the perforamance of our current Indian Hockey Team.

India’s performance in first test against South Africa

Zaheer’s performance
For zaheer I can say is he has proved his comeback to the indian team.

Sreesanth performance
What a performance by him. ripped the south africans batting order. He is a useful bowler for india in the coming years
A deserving player for man of the match and ofcourse for the dance too :) )

Sachin performance
I think he is struggling for rhythm. A great cricketer like him will probably bounce back with a bang once he find’s his touch. Looking forward for his performance in second test

Laxman performance
Indeed a great knock by him. He stood up to the task and deliver. Laxman and ganguly knock set the tone for Indian win in south africa. Don’t know why he is dropped from indian team. He has answered all the odds against him.

Ganguly peformance
Ganguly performance in the first test is really appericiable. When the chips are down his knock of 50’s give a good support level to the Indian total.

All I can say is what a comeback !
